Under Tamil Nadu State Board Government & Pandicherry, more than 10.5 lakh candidates appeared for the 10th exam in April 2013. 9 students scored 498 out of 500 and got the first place in state and 52 students scored 497 out of 500 and got the second place. 136 students scored 496 and got the third place in all over state. State First rank holder Anusha from Erode got the state first rank.
